 Anatomy of a Modular LED RGB video wall

Usually comprising square modules of Red Green and Blue Light Emiting Diodes arranged in lines. Each module is linked to it's neighbour and together form the display surface. The density of the RGB LED within the module determine the resolution of the display.  The more LEDs, or the closer the physical distance between them,(called the pitch) the clearer the picture will be. Larger pitch modules are often used for very large outside displays where the viewer is a long distance away. Smaller pitch modules are often used in shop displays and indoor public areas where there is a need for a higher resolution image but on a large screen. Smaller pitch modules are proportionally more expensive than larger pitch modules.
